Fortismere is a high-attaining, mixed foundation secondary school in the heart of Muswell Hill, North London with a strong tradition of excellence. The Co-headteachers are looking to appoint a knowledgeable, resourceful, proactive and flexible Site Manager to maintain a calm, friendly and professional manner in our busy school environment. The successful candidate will manage a team of 4 full time site staff. Fortismere site is made up of three major teaching buildings on a 22 acres site.

This in an exciting opportunity to be a part of the Premises team, working closely with the Director of Operations. The post is 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday and all year round. You will be responsible for providing excellent H&S advice and compliance and hold the relevant knowledge to provide support across the school.

The successful candidate will have:

· A good level of ICT competency, excellent communications skills and the ability to work flexibly

· Hold relevant qualifications or are willing to work towards qualifications in Premises Management, H&S, COSHH and Risk Management

· Have knowledge of delivering H&S processes and compliance to a variety of stakeholders

· The ability to implement and maintain compliance records

· Knowledge of major building projects and working with a variety of stakeholders
