Work Dates/Times

  • Monday 9th September : Work Start, 7:30am 5pm (with potential later end)
  • Tuesday 10th September : 7am 5pm.
  • Wednesday 11th September : 7am 5pm.
  • Thursday 12th September : Work End, 7am 4pm

Job Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Conference Support Staff. This role is based in the city centre and involves providing high-quality assistance during various conferences and events. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of £12.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and register attendees, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in process.
  • Provide on-site support to organisers and attendees, addressing any queries or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure all conference areas are clean, organised, and presentable during the event.
  • Assist with managing catering arrangements, including the setup and service of refreshments.
  • Liaise with the event management team to ensure all requirements are met and any last-minute changes are handled effectively.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A positive attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Previous experience in event or conference support is essential.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as required.
