Main Duties

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for a range of Accounts Assistant duties, including:
Duties:
Duties include, but are not limited to:

Daily Bank Recs
Process Rental income and report arrears
Intercompany Transactions
Process Supplier Invoices
Process Sub-contractor invoices
Process weekly and monthly timesheets
Daily Back ups of Sage Line 50 software
Raise cheques for payments
Ensure sub-contractor insurances are up to date
Council Tax for empty properties
Set up new sub-contractors
Process utility bills (including meter readings submissions)
Monthly Plant & Stock Transfers

Requirements
To be considered for this Accounts Assistant role you should have the following experience, skills, and attributes:

  • Accounting: 2 years (required)
  • Experience of working with Sage Line 50/Construct
  • Proficient in using Microsoft packages specifically Word & Excel
  • Have the competence and drive to work to the highest standards
  • High attention to detail
  • Good organisational and time management skills

Benefits

  • Holidays - 22 days + Bank Holidays. Increase 1 day per calendar year of service, up to maximum of 27 days.
  • Role is office based (St Asaph Business Park)
  • Pension: 3% ER + 5% EE
  • Hours: 36 hours being 9am - 5pm Monday to Thursday (with 30 mins unpaid lunch break) and Fridays 9am - 3.30pm (with 30 mins unpaid lunch break)
  • 25k plus
