40 hours, 52 weeks per year

Salary: Fixed Point £39,512.60

About Us: Little Faces Nursery is part of HSDC, a leading Further Education college. Our nursery is graded as 'good' by Ofsted and operates from a purpose-built, 70-place setting with four engaging rooms and a stimulating outdoor environment.

Role Overview: As the Nursery Manager, you will play a pivotal role in providing professional leadership and management to our dedicated team of practitioners. Your responsibilities will include effectively managing day-to-day operations, ensuring the highest standards of care, education, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain a stimulating, nurturing, and engaging environment for all children.
  • Lead and manage the nursery team, including the effective management of rotas and ratios.
  • Demonstrate a detailed understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Oversee the early years funding process and demonstrate effective budget management skills.
  • Possess Level 4 or above childcare qualification.
  • Hold Level 3 Safeguarding and Paediatric First Aid certifications.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills with children, colleagues, and parents.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Early Years settings.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Willingness to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
