Finance Business Partner Role

As a member of the Equiniti finance team, you will play a key role in providing financial insight and analysis to support business decisions. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for high-quality analysis and MI to drive performance. This position requires a strong mix of business knowledge, technical accounting skills, and modeling expertise to help the organization achieve its goals through finance support and commercial partnering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the P&E Finance Business Partner and Finance Director
  • Acting as the primary contact for queries from assigned business areas
  • Completing month-end processes and providing performance analysis
  • Participating in the forecasting process including P&L, headcount, balance sheet, and capex
  • Proactively assessing trends and risks in core activities
  • Assisting in the annual budget setting exercise
  • Undertaking ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

Essential

  • Qualified accountant (ICAEW, ACCA, or CIMA)
  • Self-motivated with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated accountability and ability to meet deadlines
  • Proven track record of delivering results in a challenging environment
  • Strong Excel proficiency

Desirable

  • Ability to interpret financial data impacting business performance
  • Excellent relationship building and communication skills
  • Knowledge of accounting processes
  • Experience with financial reporting systems like Workday and Adaptive Planning
