The Role:

We are looking for someone to Inspire and lead our systems and services team to consistently deliver exceptional services and other key strategic priorities that contribute to an outstanding customer experience. The post holder will be a member of the Delivery Leadership Team (DLT) expected to promote UoP Sport as a core part of the student experience, champion change, and play a lead role in the overall progression of this exciting, rewarding and people-focused service.

You will be an outstanding individual, passionate about sport and with excellent technical IT systems knowledge and experience. Whilst advantageous, experience of working in the sport/leisure sector isn't essential; being an ambitious people-focused leader with a can-do attitude and proven track record is.

As part of the proactive Business Development & Operations team, the Sports Systems & Services Manager will have excellent technical IT systems knowledge and enhance the use of technology to deliver innovative, systems-supported services to the Department of Sport & Recreation (UoP Sport), as well as to customers and stakeholders.

This role will oversee a key segment of the UoP Sport team to ensure a high-quality delivery in business systems, front-of-house customer services, finance, bookings, and sales. They will be instrumental in supporting the use of IT business systems and platforms (Gladstone, Technogym Mywellness, M365), which are essential for providing exceptional service, optimising the customer experience and driving data management information to enable strategic decisions, drive efficiency and effectiveness and financial sustainability.

The post holder will be proactive, quick-thinking, and adaptable, ready to handle any situation with integrity. They should have substantial experience with software systems, preferably in the Leisure Industry and within a university setting. Additionally, they should be skilled in troubleshooting issues, providing first-level support, and managing the configuration, development, and daily maintenance of IS systems.
