The successful applicant will themselves be an excellent teacher, with an infectious passion for maths. They will inspire high expectations in both students and teachers and be keen for the rewards and challenges of leadership within a team aspiring to deliver a powerful maths curriculum.

The successful applicant will work alongside the Curriculum Team Leader of Maths and other Maths Team Leaders to raise the attainment of key groups of students and to ensure that every child is challenged to reach their full potential. They will promote a team culture in which students and staff can flourish and thrive, and role model and promote the following leadership behaviours: commitment, collaboration, personal drive, resilience, awareness, integrity and respect.

The school has a well-established track record of supporting staff to be enterprising about seizing opportunities, inquisitive about educational research and engaged with wider communities of professional learning. For example, our continuous investment in iPads and Apple TVs for all Maths teachers has enabled the entire team to deliver dynamic and innovative lessons.
