Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Early Years Educator to join our team at Bright Horizons. As a Bank Staff Member, you will have the flexibility to work on a part-time basis, supporting our nurseries with their delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Key Responsibilities

  • Support nursery colleagues in engaging children in entertaining and educational play and activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones, and ensuring their safety throughout the day.
  • Work as part of a larger team to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed in line with nursery demands, including hygiene standards and room preparation.
  • Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety, and safeguarding.
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive, happy, and safe environment for children and colleagues.

Requirements

  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Previous experience working with children in a nursery setting.
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
  • Sound understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of children.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable.
