About You

A bachelor's degree in computer science or IT. A minimum of 2 years experience in test analysis. A proven record of experience working with computer software and coding. Knowledge of software development. Excellent analytical and diagnostic skills. Experience in test techniques and programming. Above-average planning and organizational skills and attention to detail. The ability to track and write articulate reports on technical assessments. Project management skills and the ability to work well in a team. Reporting initially into the Head of Product and Platform, the primary purpose of this role is to deliver the overall testing strategy and process across our digital channels, engage with Product Managers, Key business stakeholders and 3rd parties to ensure all releases meet Matalan's high standards and provide our customers the best omni-channel experience.

Key Responsibilities -

Defining the appropriate test to be carried out including the test data to be used. Managing the test data by documenting the results of each test cycle to identify flaws. Developing and executing automated test scripts. Analysing business requirements. Identifying and reporting defects. Preparing test plans and test cases. Ensuring efficient testing processes. Engagement and alignment with service delivery teams
