Trowbridge, Wiltshire, United Kingdom National Trust Full time
Summary

Due to some exciting developments this role now sits within the Finance Support Team, having previously been under the Finance Systems Team.

As our Finance Systems Analyst you'll be pivotal in ensuring that the integrity of the system data is maintained, alongside enabling the Trust to continue its portfolio of project work.

This essential role supports the financial teams providing the information key to the operational running of properties, places and outdoor spaces.

There's a great opportunity to learn new skills working within this busy and dynamic team.
What it's like to work here
We're bigger than you think, we're more complicated than we appear and we're larger scale than you'd imagine. We've got passionate people in all our teams, and we've got so much more we want to achieve. We're for ever, for everyone and we really mean that.

Your contractual location will be our Trowbridge Finance Service Centre (FSC) alongside other teams responsible for processing all financial transactions for the National Trust.

We are currently operating a hybrid working schedule structured approximately two days in the office and three days working at a flexible location.

What you'll be doing

Day to day you'll be loading data, responding to emails, reviewing spreadsheets, working alongside other Finance Systems Analysts and Finance Support Accountants.

You'll be communicating via Webex, emails and face-to-face with our Finance Service Centre users when in the office.

You'll have had some experience with finance systems, but we're more interested in your ability to solve problems.

You'll use your numeracy skills and an excellent knowledge of spreadsheets to be effective in this role, communicating with stakeholders across the Trust.

You'll use your organisation skills to self-manage your workload, keeping on top of your priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Communication skills, working with a variety of people, finance and non-finance alike
  • Proficient working knowledge of standard PC software such as Excel and SharePoint with the ability to utilise these tools in a non-routine way
The package
