About The Post

The School of Computing and Digital Media is currently recruiting for a Lecturer in Statistics area to deliver a high-quality teaching and learning experience and to carry out high standard research.

We are seeking a highly motivated applicant who will contribute to teaching, assessment and associated administration involved in delivering modules in Statistics subject area, covering both PG and UG levels. You will be expected to prepare, deliver, and assess coursework, assignments, examinations, and project work. You will assist in the development of courses in these areas and deployment of retention, progression and achievement strategies which enhance the student experience in the relevant courses.

At UG level the successful applicant is expected to contribute to teaching of the modules such as Logic and Problem Solving, Financial Mathematics, Data Analysis, Statistical Methods and Modelling Markets.

At PG level modules such as Statistical Modelling, Forecasting and Financial Mathematics

The Candidate

You will be a PhD holder, with a strong background in Mathematics subject area having a good research output capable of being rated at 3* or 4*.
