Position Overview
The role involves engaging in pioneering research and delivering high-quality instruction at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the field of Statistical Science. Research activities may encompass various domains of statistics, including but not limited to econometrics and data analytics. Your primary contribution will be through the Department's diverse educational offerings, where you may oversee an entire module or participate in lectures and practical sessions as part of other modules.
Compensation
The salary for this academic position is set within the Lecturer grade 8 range: £51,000 - £60,000 per annum, plus a market supplement.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess a PhD in statistics, mathematics, or a closely related field, demonstrating a robust commitment to teaching excellence. Familiarity with contemporary educational technologies and experience in statistical programming are essential for this role.
