The Role:

As part of the proactive Business Development & Operations team, the Sports Systems & Services Manager will enhance the use of technology to deliver innovative, systems-supported services to the Department of Sport & Recreation (UoP Sport), as well as to customers and stakeholders.

This role will oversee a key segment of the UoP Sport team to ensure a high-quality delivery in business systems, front-of-house customer services, finance, bookings, and sales. They will be instrumental in supporting the use of IS business systems and platforms (Gladstone, Technogym Mywellness, M365), which are essential for providing exceptional service and optimising the customer experience.

The post holder will be proactive, quick-thinking, and adaptable, ready to handle any situation with integrity. They should have substantial experience with software systems, preferably in the Leisure Industry and within a university setting. Additionally, they should be skilled in troubleshooting issues, providing first-level support, and managing the configuration, development, and daily maintenance of IS systems.
