The inclusive Wantage based Primary school needs you They have an increased number of students in classes for September 2024, so their Vale of White Horse Key stage 2 students needs you to support their learning and get the additional support

The Learning Support role:

  • Be able to adapt your knowleage to suit the Key stage 2 learning materials quickly.
  • Identify some learning challenges of the Wantage students, this can be demonstrated by challenging behaviour in the classroom.
  • Communicate to the Key stage 2 class teachers with any safeguarding concerns, be able to support on additional general classroom maintenance.
  • Promote a positive attitude amongst students/teachers, enabling a happy safe envirnment.
  • Ability to build relationships and trust amongst students in Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 - having your timetable split amongst the Key stage 2 level.

All Learning Support Assistant candidate MUST hold a valid Enhanced DBS certificate.

  • Learning Support Assistant
  • Prior experience supporting Primary aged students (eg. sports club or similar Learning support role)
  • 1 year contract
  • Work-life balance (Monday - Friday, 08:30am - 3:30pm)
  • per day
