Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Special Needs Support Assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd. This role involves providing tailored support to students with special educational needs in a nurturing environment.

Role Responsibilities
  • Work on a 1:1 basis with students requiring additional assistance to engage with the mainstream curriculum.
  • Utilize various educational resources, including emotional communication tools and visual aids, to enhance learning experiences.
  • Implement outdoor activities to foster enthusiasm and engagement among students with ADHD, ASD, and other communication challenges.
Contract Details

This is a 12-month contract position, with the potential for a permanent role based on performance.

Candidate Requirements
  • Previous experience in an educational setting, particularly with children.
  • Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to supporting student success.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education or behavioral support are preferred.
  • A minimum of a C/4 in GCSE Maths and English is required.
  • A valid DBS check is essential.
