Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality care and support to children in a residential setting.
- Work on a shift-based rota, including early mornings, late evenings, and overnight sleep shifts.
- Assist children in developing life skills, pursuing education, and engaging in recreational activities.
- Effectively manage and respond to challenging behaviours.
- Maintain accurate records and reports according to organizational policies.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive environment.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a children's home.
- Proven experience dealing with challenging behaviours.
- Ability to work every other weekend.
- Full driving license and ability to drive.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (desired but not essential).
