Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality care and support to children in a residential setting.
  • Work on a shift-based rota, including early mornings, late evenings, and overnight sleep shifts.
  • Assist children in developing life skills, pursuing education, and engaging in recreational activities.
  • Effectively manage and respond to challenging behaviours.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports according to organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a children's home.
  • Proven experience dealing with challenging behaviours.
  • Ability to work every other weekend.
  • Full driving license and ability to drive.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (desired but not essential).
