Educating approximately 1250 students, The Bishop's Stortford High School provides a single-sex education for boys in Years 7 to 11 and has a thriving mixed sixth form of close to 400 students, including 120 female students. As a result of excellent teaching, our students consistently achieve fantastic academic outcomes at both GCSE and A-Level. We are seeking to appoint a dedicated, dynamic and conscientious colleague. The Cover Supervisor role involves the supervision of classes undertaking work set by absent teachers. This would be across a range of different subjects, and would require a calm, consistent approach to classroom management, to ensure the school's high standards of behaviour and engagement are maintained. Applicants must be well-organised, have a good level of literacy and numeracy, and a willingness to be proactive.
