The Lead Pathologist at IQVIA is responsible for leading the group of Pathologists in our Livingston office. In this role, you will be examining samples from organs and other tissues most commonly acquired through surgery and bodily fluids.

What you'll be doing:

· engage in clinical trials work and contribute to cutting-edge treatment development

· career enhancing opportunity to work at the cutting edge of treatment development in a wide variety of malignancies, joining an existing team of 5 consultants, using histopathology, immunohistochemistry and fluorescent in-situ hybridization,

· no requirement for participation in surgical cut-up / trimming, gynae cytopathology or autopsy work.

What We Are Looking For:

· Medical Degree (Doctor of Medicine, or foreign equivalent)

· GMC qualification

· Board certification completed – FRCPath

· 7-10 years of relevant experience – working in a reference lab, contract research organization and/or in clinical trials

· Other Equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities needed for this role:

· Ability to bring projects and deliverables to completion under timeline expectations.

· High ethical standards.
