Technology Business Analyst, People Experience

The Technology Business Analyst will be responsible for understanding business processes and applications, assessing the business needs of internal clients and stakeholders to identify business problems and propose application solutions. This role requires an ability to understand business processes, gather requirements and translate them into a model that will allow the organisation to achieve its goals.

    In your role, you'll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here's a flavour of your day-to-day:

  4. Develop a strong understanding of our existing system and application landscape as a building block for future solutions.
  5. Work with an internal and external team to help shape the landscape and solutions that will allow Primark to achieve our strategic goals.
  6. Using interviews, workshops, documentation reviews, business analysis and business process evaluations to gather business requirements.
  7. Work with and challenge business units on their assumptions to help deliver solutions for their current and future needs.
  8. Work with information gathered from multiple sources, evaluate true business requirement from user request and ensure that proposed solution is reconciled with all business inputs, and resolve business conflicts as required.
  9. Draw requirements together into Functional Requirements Documents using existing templates, diagrams, process flows and scenarios so that the resulting document will be meaningful to the intended users.
  10. Be able to take responsibility for managing aspects of project, managing resources, timelines, 3rd parties and delivering status reports, feeding into the overall project. What You'll Bring

  11. Minimum 3 years' experience in related field.
  12. Technology experience in communications applications
  13. Demonstrated experience of gathering requirements and converting them into a product vision.
  14. Experience of the elements of a Project Management role and an understanding of PMO requirements.
  15. Possess analytical skills to interpret customer needs and translate into application and operational requirements.
  16. Possess the ability to work alongside senior management at all levels within Technology, the business and external service providers / business partners.
  17. Demonstrate strong planning and organisation skills, ability to plan and prioritise work schedule and work within agreed timescales.
