In the role of Engineering Lecturer, you'll be based at our Engineering centre and your focus will be on delivering high quality lessons to apprentices and full-time learners, including school leavers and mature students.

Your key responsibilities will be to teach and develop programmes of study to meet the particular needs of our learners. The successful candidate will create a positive classroom environment by engaging learners and challenging behaviour issues positively and with consideration. We aim to help our students develop self-regulation and confidence in their abilities as they prepare for their next step.

Ideally, you'll have at least a Level 3 qualification in Engineering/related field (or be able to prove equivalent ability) and experience in teaching young people, although demonstrable industry experience that can be applied in the classroom is highly valued within our department. It's important that you're able to communicate effectively, engage with young people and demonstrate our College values of Kindness, Unity and Excellence in your role.
