We have a terrific opportunity for a field-based Renal Therapy Specialist (Peritoneal Dialysis) responsible for our Renal Care business units within the UK & Ireland to join our teams. This is where you will bring your thinking, strategies, and ideas to advance Baxter's culture levers and deliver a personalised and connected experience
This role involves:
Championing and promoting the patient pathway and to healthcare professionals to ensure all dialysis patients can access the right therapy at the right time in the right place
Working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to guide clinical practice efficiencies and outstanding use of Baxter products.
Develop relationships with key customers whilst leading and promoting innovative clinical quality improvement opportunities and Baxter's product portfolio and benefits.
Promoting the preferred patient pathway to healthcare professionals using up-to-date clinical evidence for the right therapy, in the right place, at the right time.
Demonstrating and training on Baxter Renal therapies, products and services efficiently and optimally through an evidence-based approach under the direction of the Lead Nurse for UKI, following established governance protocols.
Achieving sales budgets and qualitative business objectives for the assigned therapies.
- Implementing identified therapy and product marketing campaigns and activities.
- Maintaining up-to-date customer records through the effective and timely use of our Customer Relationship Management Tool.
- Partnering with the marketing team, therapy and clinical development team and Medical Affairs to identify and develop Key Opinion Leaders in the renal therapy areas both regionally and nationally.
- Ensuring adherence to relevant Company protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, ABPI Code of Practice and Nursing & Midwifery Council Code of Conduct.
- Work collaboratively with the Account Manager in the territory.

Education/Experience
- Recognised nursing qualification with 3 years renal or ITU experience or equivalent including NMC registration
- Postgraduate renal nursing certificate/ITU certificate desirable
- BSC degree level is desirable
- Experience in training both HCPs and Patients is desirable
- Commercial experience in training/selling within the Healthcare industry is desirable
- ABPI qualification; or ability to study towards this within 12 months of being in the role
- Full UK/ROI Driving Licence
