31,000 Basic typically 40,000 including overtime and flexible dependent upon skills and experience and hours your require.

Working hours are 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday with flexibility for the right candidate if required

This is a permanent full time role, Stoke-on-Trent based with some travel in the UK and abroad with Competitive Salary and overtime.

The role requires a hands-on engineer with any of electrical, mechanical or hydraulic experience. It is a very secure and varied role working in the pump industry based out of the ST4 area of Stoke-on-Trent.

This is a large engineering company with a real commitment to training and development of its people. Applications are therefore invited from interested people who may not have all of the necessary skills. Full training can be given. Enthusiasm, flexibility and a willingness to learn are more important than specific pump engineering skills.

Future career in the company can include engineering roles or sales roles and opportunities to work abroad can also be available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Workshop activity building and repairing pumps.
  • Testing of pumps.
  • Technical and sales support to customers, group companies and distributors, which could involve international travel.
  • Packing and despatch of pumps and parts to customers.
  • Prototype building and new product development.
