We are seeking a highly skilled Pump Maintenance Engineer to join our prestigious client within the water treatment sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our pumping equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Servicing, installation, and commissioning of a variety of pumping equipment, including pumps, pumping stations, valves, and pipework.
- Performing a mix of both mechanical and electrical tasks, including disconnecting and removing pumps, obtaining measurements and readings using volt and ohm meters, and fitting floats and stepping relays.
- Documenting all maintenance and repairs, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Driving the company van and maintaining necessary tools and supplies.
- Responding to service requests and breakdowns, and working flexibly to meet the needs of the business.
- Qualified in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
- At least 3 years experience with pumping equipment is essential.
- A background in utility maintenance, water treatment, drainage, or a related field would be beneficial.
- A valid UK driving license is essential.
- Must be flexible to stay away from home if required.
- CSCS, First Aid, or Confined space training would be beneficial.
- Must be able to read drawings and have health and safety awareness.
- Must be able to pass DBS/Security checks.
