About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pump Systems Specialist to join our team at Saur EUROPE. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining our specialist monitoring and testing equipment for various hydraulic systems, including pumps, fans, and hydraulic networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain our specialist monitoring and testing equipment on site
  • Conduct site surveys to scope new work and help with planning and authorization
  • Lead a small team of 2-3 people
  • Network with the wider technical teams to satisfy cross-disciplinary projects
  • Be respectful, polite, and professional with customers, colleagues, and the community
  • Ability to work autonomously and at times work unsupervised while always following all health and safety protocols set by both Saur EUROPE and our clients
  • Customer interfacing
  • Health and safety duties (RAMS etc)
Requirements
  • At least 3 years' experience of hydraulic, mechanical, process, or similar engineering discipline preferably in a similar work environment (or equivalent learning experience)
  • Time-served apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering (or equivalent)
  • Level 3 BTEC in electrical or mechanical engineering (or equivalent)
  • Understanding of engineering disciplines and technologies relating to the Water/Pumping Industry
  • Proven experience in a role in which you contributed to the overall success with tangible output demonstrable
  • IT skills in MS365, particularly Excel, are preferred but not essential as full training will be provided
  • Hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation experience would be ideal but not essential as full training will be given
  • Ability to learn new products and disciplines
  • Driving Licence (Essential)
