We are currently seeking a talented, dynamic and detail-oriented Design Coordinator to support our team in the development of new residential projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating design-related activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of design services, and maintaining accurate records and documentation.

As our Design Coordinator your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and leading the design process for multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of design services
  • Coordinate with designers, architects, engineers, and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
  • Assisting in the preparation of design proposals and coordination
  • Develop and maintain accurate project timelines, checklists, and reports
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, regulations, and industry best practices
  • Manage and maintain project documentation, including design files, meeting minutes, and correspondence
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design intent
  • Identify and resolve design-related issues promptly and professionally

In order to be successful in this role you must have:

  • Architectural or a construction related degree
  • Experience in a design coordination or related role in the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of building regulations and industry standards
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with ability to prioritise multiple tasks
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
