Design Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Manager to join our team at Michael Page (UK). As a Design Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating the design process for our social housing projects.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage all aspects of the design process from concept to completion, ensuring that designs meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and sustainability.
- Work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and refine project designs, aligning with our mission of creating high-quality social housing.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant building regulations, standards, and client requirements, providing technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review and approve design documentation, including drawings and specifications, and facilitate communication and collaboration between design teams and other project participants.
- Monitor design progress and address any issues that arise during the design phase, conducting regular site visits to ensure design implementation aligns with project plans.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Design Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in design coordination within the construction industry, preferably in social housing projects, with a strong understanding of design principles, building regulations, and construction processes.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with proficiency in design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
