Duties- But not limited too:

  • Set, operate, and manufacture a variety of small-batch components from engineering drawings within tight limits
  • Manufacture all components within the agreed timescales
  • Set a variety of CNC machine tools for operators as and when required
  • Use a wide range of measuring equipment to check small-batch components after manufacture
  • Mentor new staff as required
  • Maintain the agreed quality rating at all times
  • Ensure manufactured products are suitably protected for transit
  • Work in the order of the manufacturing plan at all times
  • Ensure all manufacturing paperwork is filled out correctly
  • Carry out all tasks allocated by the Team Leader in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure a high standard of housekeeping is maintained at all times
  • Support team members with other tasks as and when required
  • Help create and maintain a safe working environment and observes the published Health & Safety procedures
  • Carry out any other tasks where reasonable and relevant, when required

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate proficiency with a extensive CNC Milling experience.
  • Competent in interpreting engineering drawings, configuring CNC Milling machines, and use of measuring instruments.
  • Proficient in operating Mazak CNC Machining Centers is an advantage.
  • Adept at working with both Metric and Imperial measurements.
  • Skilled in computer usage and exhibits a methodical approach.
  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Effective at handling tasks under pressure and meeting deadlines.
