  • Job Title: Pharmacy Technician Band 5/6
  • Location: Liverpool
  • Duration: Ongoing
  • Schedule: Full-time (Monday - Friday), part-time is also considered. Weekend work for extra hourly rates is also offered
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Rate of pay: GBP18 - GBP24 per hour.

As Locum Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in covering and assisting dispensary teams on the prison wings.

  • Handling and ordering medical prescriptions for residents.
  • Instructing residents how to take their medication and answering any questions.
  • General dispensary and screening of prison residents.
  • Supporting ATOs with checking when needed.
  • Medicines reconciliation and drug chat screening
  • Performing structured medicines reviews and education for residents.

Requirements and qualifications required for this role:

  • Current and valid registration with the GPHC as a Pharmacy Technician
  • MUST HAVE PRISON CLEARNACE
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
