Electrical Qualifying Supervisor Peterborough - GBP40-43k

TXM Recruit are working with an expanding compliance safety company that maintain, service and repair over 70,000 housing association and local authority properties. They are currently looking for an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor to provide support to their engineers and how they record testing and inspecting results.

This Electrical Qualifying Supervisor role will be expected to occasionally visit the Peterborough office but will be expected to mainly travel to their different sites (Nottingham, Derby, Sheffield, Birmingham etc). This role is Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm. Remote working will be considered due to the amount of travel.

Electrical Qualifying Supervisor Duties

  • Implementing and maintaining required systems to ensure the highest standards in both the technical and administrative aspects of the Electrical Division.
  • To ensure that the company s systems and day to day working practices comply with legislative, regulatory and accreditation bodies high standards.
  • To manage the on-going accuracy and usability of the Electrical department test equipment
  • Working alongside the Head of Electrical assisting with technical enquiries
  • Post audit inspections
  • Reviewing how the company monitors testing and inspecting

Suitable Electrical Qualifying Supervisor Skills and Experience

  • NICEIC compliance knowledge and accreditation
  • 18th Edition
  • City and Guilds 2391 (testing and inspecting)
  • Gold card
  • AM2
  • NVQ Level 3
  • An extensive understanding of the Electricity at Work Regulations and Codes of Practice and guidance documents relevant to the range of electrical work undertaken.
