Job Description

Organon is hiring a Pharmaceutical Production Support (IPT Support) to join our world class manufacturing site in Cramlington, Northumberland. In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of activities required to support the Pharmaceutical Bulk Integrated Production Team (IPT) in line with established systems and procedures.

This includes the responsibility for all Production related documentation (electronic and paperwork) including verification and generation tasks. Ensuring the correct, approved documents are issued to the assets at the correct time to achieve plan attainment.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Review and processing of completed Work Orders from an Operations perspective.
  • Use systems such as SAP and MES to perform transactions and to investigate and rectify any issues or exceptions identified.
  • Support production as a point of contact for Operators to deal with escalations and queries.
  • Represent the Bulk IPT as a Subject Matter Expert for Operations.
  • Support effective Change Control development and implementation for process or equipment changes.
  • Use data from various systems to highlight trends and improvements to identify improvement opportunities and generate reports.
  • Support deviation investigations, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills to determine root cause and develop / implement effective CAPA where required.
  • Support continuous improvement activities within the department, utilising tools such as Lean Six Sigma methodology to identify and progress Cost Productivity savings within the IPT.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience of working in an operations environment.
  • Experience working with SAP/MES systems.
  • Knowledge of Work Orders.
  • Knowledge of site safety, visual management & cGMP.
  • Flexible to current and new situations.
