You will have industry experience that demonstrates high standing in your area of specialism. You will be responsible for assisting the work of staff and students in the Theatre Technology Pathway, and for teaching and tutoring students on the Pathway. Students work across areas including theatre, opera, live events, film, television and digital production (it is not necessary to have experience in all areas). You will supervise students undertaking production and project work and oversee safe working practices. You will also contribute to wider activities in the department, as agreed with the Head of Pathway (for example, concerning open days, fundraising events and outreach initiatives). You will have an understanding of the needs of students in a performing arts environment.

The Production Arts Department is responsible for BA Production Arts, BA Digital Design & Production and MA Collaborative Theatre Production and Design; a series of short courses and outreach activities; and extensive production activity in the School's programme of public-facing performances and events. The Department is values-led and promotes diversity and inclusivity along with sustainable practices.

The successful candidate will be an organised team player, able to work independently, meet deadlines & manage your own workload. You will have up-to-date knowledge of Health & Safety relevant to your area of specialism, and a commitment to promoting safe working and inclusive practices.
