Your role as a Junior Sous Chef at The Red Lion:

  • Reporting directly to the Head Chef
  • Assisting the Sous Chef in managing kitchen operations
  • Delegating tasks and mentoring junior team members
  • Supervising food preparation and service
  • Working with the Head Chef to maximize profitability

Requirements for the role:

  • Minimum 12 months experience as Sous or CDP with management experience
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire a team
  • High standards of food hygiene and due diligence
  • Passion for the culinary arts and a desire to progress in your career
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and pro-activity
