Front Office Nights Team Member (Part-Time) - Glasgow

voco Grand Central Hotel are looking for our next Nights Team Member (Part-Time) to join us in creating a warm voco welcome for our guest

As a Nights Team Member, your main duties and responsibilities will be taking care of our guests throughout the night, responding to any queries or requests and making sure any late arrivals are met with a warm welcome. You will also be responsible to do ad-hoc tasks throughout the night such as cleaning or preparing reports to ensure the safety of our guests and employees, in addition to running the night audit. As part of this role, you will be required to complete fire walks (typically taking an hour due to the size of our Hotel) and deal with the Hotel bins (these are large and require some heavy lifting). This role is hands-on and varied, you may be completing different tasks depending on the need of the Hotel

We are looking for someone who has...

  • Availability to work 20 hours per week (shift times from 22:00-08:00) across 2 shifts, primarily Friday and Saturday however flexibility is required for this role to cover holidays and any sickness
  • Experience working as a Nights Receptionist/Auditor, Concierge or Guest Services Agent at a Hotel is highly beneficial
  • An un-stuffy, thoughtful approach to service. You will be someone who enjoys to showcase your personality and your ability to be a host to our guests, providing them with a laid-back stay
  • An interest in our environment and sustainability - we are characterised by innovation and finding ways to become more sustainable
