About The Role:

Employed on an industry funding project this opportunity will see you in our Physiology Laboratories doing the following:

Work on project that investigates the impact of different forms of vitamin supplementation with a food product supplement on bioavailability within humans.

The successful applicant will need a good human nutritional knowledge and demonstrable experience with:

  • Local ethical approvals, sponsor management and trial registrations
  • Operating in a laboratory research facility
  • Working with human participants in a human laboratory setting
  • Participant recruitment strategies
  • Safely take human venous blood samples
  • Process blood samples for analysis.
  • Analyse and report data.
  • Perform statistical analyses
  • Present results at conferences
  • Write quality scientific papers

Welsh Language Skills:

The Welsh language level required for this role is Level 1 - A little. The role holder will be able to pronounce Welsh words, answer the phone in Welsh (good morning/afternoon) and use very basic everyday words and phrases (thank you, please etc.). Level 1 can be reached by completing a 1 hour course.
