SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a business located near the Junction 26 of the M1.

My client are a growing business who are driven to becoming the market leader in their field.

This is a fantastic opportunity to expand your current accounting skills, you will also be working with a well-structured and experienced management team.



Key Duties:

  • Processing sales ledger invoices
  • Processing purchase ledger invoices
  • Processing invoices onto the database
  • Daily posting Cash Receipts and Payments on Sage 50
  • Monthly reconciliation of multiple bank accounts
  • General queries internal and external
  • Keeping information for customers and suppliers up to date
  • Any ad hoc duties / projects as and when they arise

Person Specification:

  • Sage 50 knowledge
  • Previous experience working in a varied transactional role
  • Microsoft office especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Be well presented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail with a high concern of accuracy
  • Ability to work under pressure and to prioritise workload to meet deadlines
  • Appreciate the demands of working in a growing business.
