Overall job purpose

Assist in managing the Technology Risk Assurance (TRA) client portfolio in conjunction with Partners/Directors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of assignments at clients' sites.

Responsibilities
Control and manage the delivery of the assignment (could be Internal Audit support, External Audit support or IT Advisory), Cyber Advisory to ensure that the work is completed to time and budget, providing solutions on any issues as appropriate to the Director / Partner Lead TRA team's and individuals to ensure effective delivery of TRA services,Manage agreed client portfolio for the regional areaPerform more complex Cyber Security TRA assignmentsRepresent the Firm in TRA matters as required, including attendance at client meetings and audit committeesDraft proposals or assist as part of team that prepares tenders and presents these as part of business developmentBuild relationships with clients and identify/act upon all potential additional work opportunities at existing clients or new work at potential clients

Essential:
Relevant experience within IT Audit and/or Cyber Risk ManagementDemonstrates expertise in a specialist field (e.g. Cyber Risk Strategy)Effective use of IT including excel, audit and accounts packages, outlookExcellent technical knowledge on both the internal audit process and relevant sector issuesDriving licence (clean) / access to a car is essential as national travel may be required (N/A for London Farringdon positions)
Desirable:
Master's degree in relevant subject i.e. information systems Relevant SOX experienceTakes responsibility for work tasks and quality, managing own workload and deadlines under supervisionShows enthusiasm and commitment to undertaking tasks as required and in particular in seeing tasks through to completionWilling to travel nationally and stay away from home when required (less than 30% of the time)Confident and excellent written and oral communication skillsDemonstrates active listening skills and undertakes timely action where appropriateExcellent presentation skillsAble to organise and manage time efficiently and effectively whilst being flexibleConsiders development of specialist areas of knowledgeAble to work autonomously / pro-actively
