Wolverhampton, Wolverhampton, United Kingdom The Royal School Wolverhampton Full time

The Royal School is offering an exciting opportunity for a full time proactive teaching assistant with willingness to support pupils at Senior School.

If you are an open-minded individual who embraces challenges and is looking for an

opportunity to work in a supportive team and at the same time make a significant contribution to the lives of pupils faced with a range of individual needs, this could be your chance to make a real difference. Pass grades at GCSE English and Maths or equivalent is an essential requirement of the post.

Much of the support required is academic as well as pastoral and aimed at ensuring that pupils can access the learning environment, thrive, and achieve their personal best.

To meet the needs of our diverse pupil population, we are looking for a resilient individual who is willing and able to work within a busy team and share our can-do attitude to removing barriers to achievement and wellbeing.

All staff have access to continuous professional development, training for specific intervention strategies as well as support for the development of subject specific knowledge.

The Royal School is an all-through (Reception to Y13) 'independent' free school without day fees whilst still providing boarding. Alongside the growth in pupil numbers, there is an ongoing expansion in the curriculum, enrichment activities and improved facilities, enabling us to extend and enhance still further the range of opportunities for all our young people.
