Job Description

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent and Casual Positions Available

Hours: 37 hours per week

Salary: Level 1: NJC Grade 2 (£22,366 - £22,737 FTE or £19,291 - £19,611 for 44.85 weeks)
Level 2: NJC Grade 3 (£23,114 – £23,893 FTE or £19,935 - £20,608 for 44.85 weeks)
Level 3: NJC Grade 4 (£24,294 – £25,979 FTE or £20,954 - £22,407 for 44.85 weeks)

Reporting to: Assistant Headteacher SEND

About the Role:

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our school's SEND learning support team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students, staff, and the school's curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students, as groups or individuals, in their educational and personal development.
  • Support teachers in the classroom, providing assistance with lesson planning, delivery, and assessment.
  • Support the school and curriculum, as required, to ensure a high-quality educational experience for all students.

Requirements:

  • Experience working and supporting in an educational setting (required at TA L2&3)
  • Successfully planned and delivered interventions and booster groups (required at TA L2&3)
  • Maths and English GCSE level A – C or equivalent
  • A positive and supportive influence on the teacher and children you support
  • The ability to recognise the child's needs & adapt the learning accordingly to ensure children thrive
  • Committed to the learning and development of children within your care
