This role is to provide specialist professional tenancy management advice, guidance and support for internal teams and external agencies dealing with complex, vulnerable households.

  • You provide case management for the most complex tenancy management cases referred by Neighbourhood teams, particularly those requiring legal action.
  • You will develop and deliver training including reviewing and updating training packages in relation to sign up, quittings, tenancy management, safeguarding and Housing+.
  • You will to use existing Council policies, experience and judgement to evaluate options and determine an appropriate course of action for complex tenancy management cases.

    If you are appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.

    Full-time employees work 37 hours for 52 weeks of the year and we offer a generous holiday entitlement. We are open to discussions about a wide range of flexible working opportunities which benefit you and the Council, including reduced hour contracts, working part time or as a job share.
