Management Accountant

Our client, in the Canterbury area, is looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join their existing team who provide additional assistance to businesses and act as an outsourced finance function. You will play a part in providing an efficient service comprising of bookkeeping, VAT, management reporting, cash flow management, assisting with profit and growth plans, setting up systems and ad-hoc projects. Your duties will comprise of maintaining clients' accounting records, both in-house and at client's premises, as listed above.

The ideal candidate will be motivated, diligent and looking for a new challenge, and should:

Be AAT qualified and have good knowledge of Sage, Quickbooks and Xero.

Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.

Have the ability to communicate with people at all levels

Have a high standard of spoken and written English

Possess good computer skills, particularly Excel

Have excellent organisation skills with an eye for detail

Have the ability to work to tight deadlines and manage several projects at once

The standard hours for this position are 9.00am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
