Landmarc Support Services is a leader in facilities management across unique and challenging environments. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Manager to oversee the comprehensive facilities management at Lydd Camp in Kent.

As the Team Manager, you will oversee the management of accommodation, training areas, and facilities management services. This pivotal role requires a blend of strong leadership, strategic oversight, and operational excellence to ensure seamless service delivery and high standards across our site.

Main Responsibilities

Be the Team Manager and main point of contact of a Team Leader and Site Operatives with excellent people management skills.

Manage facilities usage and carry out routine inspections to identify maintenance and activity requirements, in particular cleaning standards.

Identify requirements for and manage delivery of accommodation, waste, stores, grounds maintenance and cleaning.

Ensure the tasks identified across the training estate are completed as requested to the required standards.

Demonstrate exceptional people management skills, driving team performance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Proactively address and resolve issues reported by staff, customers, or site users, while monitoring and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Identify and deliver reactive maintenance tasks.

Understand and manage operational budgets effectively.

Flexibility to support at Hythe Ranges where required.

The Ideal Candidate
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety such as COSHH, manual handling, risk assessments and safe systems of work to IOSH Managing Safely level (NEBOSH desirable)
  • Previous knowledge of stores accounting (desirable)
  • NVQ4 level Management (desirable)
  • People management experience with a proven track record in performance management
  • Knowledge of workload scheduling and work order processes, preferably in a multi- tasking environment
  • Ability to understand and oversee budgetary constraints and financial planning
  • Strong capability in workforce planning and driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Must hold Full Valid UK Driving Licence
