Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage engineering teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement technical specifications, work instructions, and risk assessments for assigned systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of engineering policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in a practicing disciplined engineering role (Mechanical, Electrical, C & I, or Civil) on industrial plant.
  • Nuclear and conventional plant operation and/or maintenance experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in risk assessment and management.
  • Knowledge of cranes, lifting equipment, waste processes, and waste projects.
  • Experience with vent plants, compressors, vacuum systems, and hoists.
  • Minimum HNC National Qualifications Framework (NQF level 5); preferably a relevant Degree or working towards (NQF level 6).
