About the role:

We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team, demonstrating a high standard of community development and partnership working to strengthen work in the community and enhance opportunities and services for children, young people and families.

You will be part of small team that will develop a shared vision for this community focused approach, working in co-production with the community and developing projects that address the needs of children, young people and families in your area, including Flying Start families.

    What you will do:
    • Provide project management for the development and delivery of the Children First model and the Flying Start programme in Welshpool.
    • This post holder will be responsible for and oversee the management of a family centre in Welshpool.
    • Develop and implement projects, activities and events to support transformational and sustainable cultural change in the community.
    • Actively engage with and ensure children, young people and families are involved in developing community projects, activities and events that meet the communities' needs
    • Work effectively with all stakeholders and work in partnership with local services, schools and organisations to facilitate and support community focused projects and events to increase opportunities and meet the needs of children, young people and families in the locality.
