Key Responsibilities:

Assist classroom teachers with lesson delivery and assessment.Provide in class one-on-one or small group support to students who may require additional help.Supervise students during class activities, breaks, and extracurricular events.Assist in maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.Help with administrative tasks such as organizing classroom materials and preparing educational resources.Collaborate with colleagues to develop engaging and effective teaching strategies.Depending on experience, help with the delivery of PE, games and swimming lessonsQualifications and Qualities:A genuine passion for education and working with young people.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards learning.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable but not essentialA minimum Grade 5 Maths and English scores at GCSE or equivalentThe Sports Gap Assistant will still perform many of the same responsibilities and duties as described above. However, the Sport Gap Assistant will have increased Game and Sports lessons on their timetable. Your role would be to support the teaching of pupils within PE and Games sessions through coaching, mentoring and developing the passion and love for sport for all children. You may work more closely with our Sports/Games department in the school and be required to attend trips and fixtures. This candidate will still uphold the values of the school and promote these whenever possible. You will still endeavour to provide the pupils with the highest standards of education and care in accordance with the school's aims and will seek to support the teaching staff to achieve this goal.

This is a full-time position with competitive daily pay rates, offering the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the field of education. Please note, this is a fixed term contract, for the Autumn term at the school (3 months). The contract will initially be for one term (three months) with potential for extension based on performance and school needs.

Hours: Monday to Friday,
