Contract Type: Full-time, September 2024, and you will be required to complete the academic year

Pay Rate: per day, subject to experience

This two-form entry school has been rated 'Good' Ofsted.

This role is ideal for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to develop experience across KS1 and KS2, and hone skills in behaviour management, planning and lesson delivery.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons from EYFS to Year 6
  • Help maintain a positive learning environment by managing student behaviour and ensuring classroom rules are followed.
  • Lead small group interventions to support student learning
  • Contribute to lesson planning and preparation
  • Support the social and emotional development of students
  • Adapt to various classroom settings and across year groups as needed
  • Assess, record and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Relevant Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong curriculum knowledge and flexibility to support across classrooms
  • Passion for working with children and enhancing their educational experience
  • Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK
