WHAT TO EXPECT

As part of JLR's Propulsion Calibration Chapter Group, you'll lead the Mechatronics and Interfaces Chapter across both xHEV and BEV domains.
Following an Agile leadership approach, you'll develop the body of knowledge, toolchain and skills of others required to develop, integrate and deliver calibrations on time, on cost and on quality targets

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Coach, mentor and support a team of talented engineers creating an environment of growth, wellbeing, technical curiosity and excellence
  • Develop the mechatronics and interfaces calibrations for current and future Powertrain systems on X Hybrid Electric and Battery Electric vehicles
  • Collaborate with others to understand customer needs and develop indicators that measure solutions against the target customer experiences
  • Develop and maintain a book of knowledge for your calibrations attributes through technical excellence and benchmarking activities

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • With mechatronics and interfaces leaning heavily towards understanding physics and mathematics it would be advantageous to be educated to degree level in a STEM subject (Science, Technical, Engineering or Mathematics)
  • You'll need an understanding of all aspects associated to calibration delivery and development
  • You' also have the ability to present information confidently and articulately as well as demonstrating your skills as an active listener
  • The opportunity also requires the ability to lead and influence others
