We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our client's restaurant team. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house functions, staff management, financial performance, and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the restaurant team, setting clear objectives and expectations to drive performance and achieve business goals.
- Manage day-to-day restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling, inventory management, and vendor relations, to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of restaurant staff, providing ongoing coaching, feedback, and support to foster a positive work environment and enhance employee engagement.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, including health and safety standards, to ensure compliance with regulations and maintain a safe and sanitary working environment.
- Monitor financial performance and budgetary targets, analyzing financial reports and implementing cost-control measures to maximize profitability and minimize expenses.
- Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies to attract and retain customers, increase sales, and enhance brand awareness.
- Foster positive relationships with guests, addressing feedback and concerns in a timely and professional manner to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and update menus, ensuring that they reflect current culinary trends, seasonal ingredients, and guest preferences.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service, conducting regular inspections and evaluations to uphold the restaurant's reputation for excellence.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, continually seeking opportunities for innovation and improvement to enhance the restaurant's competitive position in the market.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry, preferably as a General Manager or Restaurant Manager.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of employees to achieve common goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests, staff, and stakeholders at all levels.
- Solid understanding of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house functions, food and beverage service, and customer service standards.
- Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and cost-control principles, with the ability to analyze financial reports and make data-driven decisions.
