The University is looking to appoint a CPD Team Lead to support the supervision of the CPD Team including recruitment, induction and training of new staff together with ongoing monitoring of staff performance, ensuring the highest standards of administration are delivered.
The successful applicant will provide support to the Funding Team Manager with respect to the above tasks and is expected to deliver excellent customer service to students and staff by operating efficient processes, deploying the use of IT effectively and monitoring customer satisfaction.
Recent experience in a busy office environment, experience of student record systems, experience of organising, inputting and extracting data from various sources as well as checking data integrity are essential. Utilising strong organisational skills, the successful candidate will also have experience of supervising teams and workloads and the ability to prioritise their own workload and that of others.
For the position, a range of word processing/IT qualifications or demonstrable experiential learning is essential. The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent experiential learning plus GCSE Maths and English Language.
An awareness of confidentiality and data protection issues is required alongside the ability to work consistently under pressure, prioritise work and meet deadlines.
Applicants need to meet all essential criteria on the person specification to be considered for interview. This position is based in Preston.
