Job Title: Locum Adult Social Worker

Location: Chelmsford

Salary: £207 per day

Job Description:

Sirona Medical is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Locum Adult Social Worker to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced social worker looking to make a significant impact on the lives of adults in need while enjoying the flexibility of locum work.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments of adults' needs and develop individualized care plans.

Provide support and intervention to adults facing various challenges, including mental health issues, physical disabilities, and safeguarding concerns.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, to ensure holistic care.

Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with relevant legislation and organizational policies.

Advocate for clients' rights and empower them to achieve their personal goals.

Participate in case reviews and ensure continuous evaluation of care plans.

Requirements:

Degree in Social Work and current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Proven experience in adult social work, preferably in a locum or temporary role.

Strong understanding of relevant legislation, including the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005.

Excellent assessment and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries.
