Due to internal promotion the exciting opportunity of Group Accountant (full time, permanent) has become available at Molo Hotel Group Ltd. Reporting to the Group Finance Director, the Group Accountant is responsible for the statutory filings, preparing the group's consolidated accounts, supporting the audit process and working with the external auditors to ensure that accounts are filed with the relevant authorities. This role will also involve preparing the quarterly bank reporting and covenants' monitoring. The role will directly contribute to the ongoing success, growth, and development of the group by influencing and improving financial performance and efficiency for each of the holding and development companies.

The successful candidate will required the following

  • accounting specific qualification – ACCA, ICAS or equivalent.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize is essential.
  • Understanding of Sage and SUN accounting software would be an advantage
  • Preparation of annual budgets from the holding companies.
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts for the holding companies.
  • Preparation of statutory returns including VAT Returns, CIS returns and WHT returns.
  • Preparation of the full bank drawdown packs for the development projects.
  • Managing internal and external audits for the group in different jurisdictions.
  • Driving the process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial reporting

Molo Central Office is located on Mossland Road, Glasgow. Molo is a privately owned company.

With seven trading hotels and four currently under construction, Molo Hotels intends to add many more hotels not just in the UK but in other key destinations in Europe and the world.
